The Kiss

As she turns towards me, she pauses, and looks into my eyes. She stands there, motionless, yet somehow, her face seems to flow as the soft light dances and caresses the soft curves of her face. I place my hands on her waist and draw her near to me. We tilt our heads, and with eyes closed, our lips find each other. My hand moves up her back and rests, only for a moment on her neck, before pulling her further into me as we both lose ourselves in this moment, forever. Time passes, but it doesn't matter. People pass, and it doesn't matter. Everything passes but the kiss.
